OV-10B Bronco Demo Team



With her restoration complete - after receiving a fresh coat of paint - the weather on Sunday morning, March 2nd, could not have been better for the home coming flight of our latest Bronco 99+18. It was even more special as 99+18 was flown by Tony De Bruyn making his first flight in a Bronco since the accident in 2012.





For the occasion a special photoflight took place, producing pictures to illustrate the new team folder and promotion materials. The memorable flight over Flanders Fields took in quite a few remarkable landmarks, "Passchendaele", "Tyne Cot" cemetery, and the "Menin Gate" memorial, certainly not being the least of them. Then the historical cities of Ypres and Dixmude were over flown before flying to the coastline via Koksijde Air Base. With this flight Bronco Demo Team wants to bring a fitting salute to the many sacrifices endured during the Great War 100 years ago.





This “first” flight ended at Kortrijk-Wevelgem Airport where many fans and friends waited to welcome the Bronco back at home. 99+18 is now resplendent in it’s fully original service markings and appears at airshows in the UK and around Europe, both for flying and static displays. We would like to thank everyone who turned the great effort of this unique project in to a huge success.
