In August we had the pleasure of being invited back to Biggin Hill for the second year in a row for their 100th Anniversary Airshow and Festival of Flight.

Last year was a very quick turnaround - flying in and home to Belgium on the day for the one-day show. This year the Biggin Hill Festival of Flight celebrating the airfields 100th anniversary, was planned over two days and we were able to arrive nice and early on Friday, and stay until Sunday to properly enjoy the festival and entire atmosphere.

The Bronco was placed at the northern end of the airfield towards the VIP marquees that gather the crowds, which was great for our merchandise stand. The ‘Poppies’ Gin on sale went down very well!

The weather was quite interesting with some very changeable scenes over the weekend, but this made for some great photographs.

Tony enjoyed 2 lovely displays over the weekend and also had the privilege of completing a flypast each day with Sally B; Europe’s last remaining airworthy B17.

There was a varied flying display programme with some new exciting additions; it was great to see the MI helicopters for my first time; as well as the normal ‘Warbird’s’, jets and old favourites.

Biggin Hill has a great organisational team, very experienced and professional who helped make the weekend go very smoothly. A great job, lovely hosting and fantastic show.
